Green jobs are central to growth and sustainable development and provide a response to the global challenges of environmental protection, economic development, and social inclusion.
In this context, the Mediterranean Renewable Energy Center (MEDREC) and the French Ministry of Agriculture, Water Resources, and Maritime Fisheries (MARHP) will be present at the Francophonie Climate Pavilion – COP 26 in Glasgow, United Kingdom, on November 11, to organize a symposium on:
“Sustainable Jobs for Economic Recovery and Social Inclusion in Agriculture and Rural Areas: Perspectives and Horizons – North Africa”
The proposed activity aims to connect key stakeholders involved in sustainable development and green economic recovery in North Africa to initiate a cross-sectoral debate that will help propose a roadmap on the horizons and prospects for the green economy and green jobs in the region.
