Director
Director of MEDREC and General Director of the Italian-Mediterranean cooperation agency APREIME and the agency for the promotion of italo-tuniso-european economic relations APREITE since their foundation in 1996, was previously an operational point of the IMELS in Tunisia, of the Lombardy Region in Tunisia and Confartigianato (Italian Small Entreprises Association) in North Africa, of Milan’s Bocconi University in Tunisia, and delegate of the Milan trade fair in Tunisia and the fair of Verona in North Africa, was the advisor of the 50 million euros investment fund Euromed created by Finlombarda, a venture capital and private equity securities fund launched in 2006 with the aim of investing in the countries of the Euro-Mediterranean area.
Director
Director of MEDREC since 2016 and Deputy Director in charge of International Cooperation at the Tunisian National Agency for Energy Management (ANME), has contributed to several cooperation projects with european and africain institutional partners, supported the iniciative of MEDENER, the Mediterranean Association of National Agencies for Energy Management.


Public Relations Activities
Aida FEHRI has held several positions, for 8 years, in e-commerce and management consulting firms. From 2016 to 2020, Aida has been in charge of Communication at the Tunisian Ministry of Agriculture for more than 3 years as an Advisor of the Minister.
Since February 2020, Aida has been a member of MEDREC as an expert in Public Relations activities, and is currently financial manager of MEDREC.
Technical Manager
Ines has a degree in industrial engineering and a PhD in energy systems, specialised in building energy performance modeling and simulation (National Engineering School of Tunis-Tunisia). From 2011 to 2015, she delivered courses for engineering students in configuration management and statistical process control for industrial applications, as well as training sessions in dynamic modeling and simulation of renewable energy systems. Ines joined MEDREC in 2016 where she gained experience in project design, management and coordination mainly in the field of energy efficiency and renewable energies. Ines is currently the Technical Manager of MEDREC and the coordinator of the EU funded project MedEcoSuRe.


Administrative Assistant
Ensuring administrative assistance in MEDREC since 2017: Accounting, Human Resources Management, procurement… and has experience in coordination and organisation of seminars and networking events.
Technical Expert – Strategy and Project Design Activities
Hatem received his PhD in physics from the University of Paris-Sud. For about a decade, Hatem held different Research and teaching positions mainly in France and Canada where he authored high impact research papers, patents and contributed to the design and implementation of different research projects. Sensitive to environmental issues, Hatem decided to join MEDREC in 2019 where he is now leading the strategy and project design activities.


Technical Expert – Research Valorisation Activities
Souha completed her Ph.D. and Engineering studies at the National Engineering School of Tunis (ENIT), where she specialized in the Solar Thermal Engineering, ranging from design to numerical modeling to implementation. She was actively involved in different research and development projects in the framework of the FP7 programme, where she mainly took part in the implementation and performance assessment of a power plant based on the hybridization of solar (Concentrated Solar Power – CSP) and biomass resources with the aim to generate heat and electricity for the National Engineering School of Tunis (REELCOOP and RenewValue projects). Since 2019, Souha has been a technical expert in MEDREC where she has been involved in the design, elaboration and management of cooperation projects, in particular, she is currently part of the coordination team of the EU funded project Med-EcoSuRe.
REFAT Project Management Unit
Coordinator of the REFAT project, an instrumentation and industrial maintenance engineer from the National Institute of Applied Sciences and Technology (INSAT). For his graduation, Moez was part of the research team of the EU-funded project OPWIND (Operational Control for Wind Power Plants) led by SINTEF Energy Research in cooperation with the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). Also, an active member in the IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) organization for 4 years, Moez was the chairman of the IEEE Energy chapter of his university and was one of Tunisia’s IEEE Power & Energy Society’s (PES) representatives during the IEEE Energy Congress held in São Paulo, Brazil in 2018. In addition, Moez was part of the Tunisian team, which reached the semifinals of the “Hult Prize” social entrepreneurship competition in Toronto, Canada.


Med-EcoSuRe Project Management Unit
Assistant for the coordination of the Med-EcoSuRe project, an instrumentation and industrial maintenance engineer from the National Institute of Applied Sciences and Technology (INSAT). For her graduation, Aïcha was part of the project management team of Cdiscount in Bordeaux, France (first online sales website in France) as a junior continuous improvement project manager. Also, an active member in the IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) organization for 4 years, Aïcha was the vice chairwoman of the IEEE Industry Application Society chapter of her university and was one of Tunisia’s IEEE students’ representatives during the IYCE17 (International Youth conference on Energy) held in Budapest Hungary in 2017.
Technical Expert – ICAPT Project Management Unit
An industrial engineer, graduated from the National Institute of Applied Sciences and Technology (INSAT) joined MEDREC’s team, in 2021, as a junior project coordinator for ICAPT project. Eya worked in the automotive industrial field for almost 2 years as a Project Quality Engineer. She was also an active member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) for 3 years during which she was the representative of her institute in the IEEEE IAS Annual meeting 2018 in Portland, USA for winning the IAS Outstanding Student Branch Chapter Chair award. She was also a member of the program committee of IEEE WIE International Summit 2018 that was held for the first time in Tunisia.
