As part of the ICAPT project (Implementation of Climate-Smart Agricultural Practices in Tunisia), a call for tenders No. ICT01/2021 was published by MEDREC on June 3, 2021.

The objective of this call for tenders is the procurement and installation of an electrical cabinet consisting primarily of four variable speed drives with a unit power of 355 kW each, aimed at improving energy efficiency and regulating the flow rate of the SONEDE (National Water Distribution) water pumping station in Fettbes el Fejiraj.

After a financial and technical evaluation of the bids received, ITEC (Intégration Technique et Câblage) was selected as the successful bidder. Its CEO, Mr. Sami ZOUARI, was invited to MEDREC headquarters on October 1 to sign the contract and officially begin the installation of the electrical cabinet.
