The Mediterranean Renewable Energy Center (MEDREC), a partner in the SEACAP 4SDG project, is launching a call for expressions of interest to assist Tunisian municipalities in assessing and planning energy management measures planned in their communities.
The project contributes to the fight against climate change by reducing energy consumption in public buildings and promotes the development of Energy Management Action Plans in municipalities through a support mechanism that includes two levels of assistance:
– the first, to encourage the commitment of at least one municipality/commune or group of municipalities to use the results and achievements of the selected reference projects (henceforth referred to as the toolbox) in their daily work,
– and the second, consists of supporting the municipality/commune or group of municipalities in using these sources for the detailed analysis and planning of energy management measures in municipal buildings. This support will be provided by an external entity that will assist the selected municipalities during the development of both phases and through specific training sessions.
