The first 69.3 kWp photovoltaic installation was inaugurated at the Ministry of Agriculture, Water Resources, and Fisheries, and commissioned on May 18, 2023, under the supervision of His Excellency the Minister of Agriculture, in the presence of the Ministry’s Directors General.

The installation will cover 30% of the Ministry’s consumption and reduce its electricity bill by 20%.

This installation is part of the REFAT project, “Renewable Energies for Agricultural and Rural Development in Tunisia,” implemented by MEDREC as part of the bilateral cooperation between the Italian Ministry of the Environment and the Tunisian Ministry of Agriculture.
