The Agency for the Promotion of Agricultural Investments (APIA) and the Mediterranean Renewable Energy Center (MEDREC) signed a framework partnership agreement on Thursday, June 17, at the premises of the Agency for the Promotion of Agricultural Investments (APIA), focusing on energy savings, sustainable development and the fight against climate change.

The partnership agreement aims to promote the use of renewable energy and energy-efficient practices in the agricultural sector, for energy savings and sustainable development.

The two parties, MEDREC and APIA, agreed to develop a joint development plan for the use of renewable energy in the agricultural sector and to strengthen APIA’s capacity in research, project evaluation, and the formulation of funding requests to donors.
