As part of the Med-EcoSuRe project, the Energy Research Center (ERC) at An-Najah National University (ANNU) participated in the International Online Conference on Economics, Energy, and the Environment (ICEEE’2020) (http://www.iceee2020.com/), from June 25 to 27, 2020.

The objective of this event was to bring together economists, engineers, policymakers, industrialists, and students to share and discuss research findings and innovative ideas in the fields of economics, energy, and the environment, from a global perspective.

Dr. Imad Ibrik and Eng. Fadia Hashaika from the Energy Research Center presented the research paper “Techno-Economic Analysis of a Large-Scale Grid-Connected Photovoltaic System in Palestine.”

The researchers presented the methodology for evaluating the performance and technical and economic impact of large-scale photovoltaic solar power plants, which will be adopted in the rehabilitation buildings of higher education institutions as part of the Med-EcoSuRe project, funded by the ENI CBC MED program. In this context, Dr. Imad indicated that two photovoltaic solar systems will soon be installed in two ANNU faculties.
