Med-EcoSuRe paves the way for energy production and trading on a Micro-Grid platform

Tunisia: Med-EcoSuRe paves the way for energy production and trading via a microgrid platform
SMARTNESS (Smart Micro-grid plAtfoRm wTh aN Energy Management SyStem), a microgrid platform powered by photovoltaic solar panels, was inaugurated at the National School of Engineering of Tunis (QehnA laboratory) on January 27, 2021.

The inauguration took place in the presence of the President of the University of Tunis El Manar (UTM), the Director of the National School of Engineering of Tunis (ENIT), the Director General of Cross-Border Cooperation (Minister of Economy, Finance and Investment Support), the Director General of the Tunisian Electricity and Gas Company (Renewable Energy branch), the suppliers of the experimental platform (GAMCO Energy and Lightency), representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture, as well as as well as representatives from various institutions. They highlighted the importance of participating in such events and cooperation projects, which provide an opportunity for exchanging and updating knowledge.

We support this type of action and project, convinced that they will strengthen research and innovation and that together, we will contribute to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.
