On March 5, a five-year partnership agreement was signed between IRESA (Institute of Agricultural Research and Higher Education) and MEDREC (Mediterranean Renewable Energy Center) to strengthen their joint efforts in energy efficiency and sustainable development.

Signed by Mr. Mahmoud Elyes Hamza, President of IRESA, Mr. Marco Polverari, and Mr. Hassen El Agrebi, Co-Directors of MEDREC, this agreement will enable both parties to share their mutual expertise in research, innovation, and training, to support capacity building and the development of renewable energy projects. MEDREC will contribute its valuable expertise in project management, implementation, and design, while IRESA will draw on its extensive network of national and international institutions for fundraising and its expertise in sustainable development research.
