The two institutions have agreed to combine their efforts and resources in the areas of capacity-building, research and transfer-innovation related to the field of sustainable development. In addition, MEDREC is committed to consolidate the efforts of INSAT in strengthening the capacity of its teacher-researchers in the field of sustainable development in general and in renewable energy more specifically. The Centre will also provide the necessary expertise to INSAT in technical, administrative and financial management to implement cooperation initiatives.
