Analysis of needs for capacity building activities

In order to reinforce the capacities of the actors in the North African countries (Tunisia, Morocco, Egypt, Algeria), MEDREC is carrying out a diagnosis of the national needs in the field of Renewable Energies, in the above mentioned Countries. This diagnosis, focused on existing and future Renewable Energies applications, is identifying the requirements for capacities building, training, quality and standardization necessary to assist this sector. The expected results of this study are: • Identification of immediate and future needs in terms of use of RE various technologies, as well as real potentialities of diffusion and use of each technology. • Identification of concrete measures to be undertook in terms of capacities building for the assistance and the development of RE programs and projects • Elaboration of detailed action plan for the setting up of pilot projects relating to new RE technologies and applications, as well as required financial means. • Proposition of training actions
