MEDISCO – Solar Cooling in agro-food industry

After the assessment of end-use requirements of the Tunisian winery Domaine Neferis, a solar driven heating and cooling system along with a measurement system have been installed in the winery. The system is now operational and is supplying part of the needed chilled water for the wine production. Experimental activities will be carried out, according to a suitable monitoring protocol, in order to assess the performance of the system, under Tunisian climate conditions.
