1.     Realizations during first 5 months of 2007

 

a.      Physical realizations

28 130 m² of SWH were installed during the first 5 months of 2007, which represents 44% of the objective of 2007, in comparison to 18 500 m² installed during the same period in 2006, which represents an increase of 52%.

 

In addition, the offer was ameliorated:

  •   The number of eligible suppliers was of 17 at the end of May 2007 (from which 4 local constructor) supplying 72 models. The total supply capacity is of 109 000 m² of SWH
  •  The number of eligible settlers is 453.

  •  59% of installed SWH have a 200l capacity, 41% have a 300l and plus capacity,
  • 6% of installed SWH uses vacuum tubes technology and 94% uses flat-plate collectors

b.      Financial realizations

Financial realizations in the first 6 months of 2007 are the following:

  • Total investment : 10.4 Millions TD
  • Subsidy from  FNME : 1.88 Million TD
  • Complementary subsidy from MEDREC (for the 300l SWH) : 187 500 TD
  • Credits: 4.79 Millions TD attributed of which 1.4 Million TD were served by Attijari Bank

 

c.      Technical and administrative procedures notebook:

 

ANME undertook the revision of the PROSOL technical and administrative procedures notebook to adapt it to the technical evolutions and to allow meet Tunisian market needs, the technical and administrative procedures notebook has been transmitted to the different intervening parties of the project for opinion

 

 

2.     Tertiary PROSOL:

 

Within the framework of tertiary PROSOL sensitizing and capacity building actions, ANME undertook capacity building actions which allowed the training of:  

  • 19 Consulting Engineer
  • 20 Collective systems installers
  • 16 Engineers and technicians working in Heating and air conditioning companies  
  • 40 hotel maintenance agents   

In parallel to residential PROSOL, a technical and administrative procedures handbook was elaborated for tertiary PROSOL.

The start of tertiary PROSOL is programmed for September 2007.
