A MoU was signed between the Tunisian Ministry for Industry, Energy and Small and Middle-sized Enterprises and the Italian Ministry for the Environment and Territory in order to implement in Tunisia 2 pilot projects exploring improved Solar Pond technology. Is to remind that the wish to explore the Solar Pond technology in Tunisia was emitted by IMET during the visit of the General Director Mr Corrado Clini to Tunisia in the 05-03-2006,
The 2 projects which were retained to be financed by IMET:
1. Water heating in a hotel in Tunisia.
2. Irrigation water desalination
