Official Launch of the EU funded project Med-EcoSuRe Innovative and Eco-Sustainable energy renovation of Mediterranean University Buildings | 23-12-2019

On the 23rd of November, The Mediterranean Center for Renewable Energies (MEDREC) organized the official launch of the med-EcoSuRe project,  in the presence of Mr. Lorenzo Fanara, the Ambassador of Italy in Tunisia, and with the participation of Mr. Fethi Ben Mimoun, GeneralDirector of Cross-border Cooperation at the Ministry of Investment Development and International Cooperation,Tunisia, as well as Ms LauraBas Marián, the ProgrammeOfficer for ENI CBC MED Programme Branch Office for the Western Mediterranean Med-EcoSuRe is a project funded under the EU “ENI CBC MediterraneanSea Basin” Programme with a budget of €2.9 million, out of which €2.6 millionas EU contribution. The project started on September 1st, 2019, and willlast for three years.The partnership, led by MEDREC, covers four countries(Tunisia, Palestine, Italy and Spain) and includes public universities, anItalian Agency for Energy and Environment and a Spanish association for theinternationalization and innovation of solar companies.The launch event brought together key nationalstakeholders interested in ”Energy Efficient Buildings" and highlighted the objectives and expected results of the project.
