Le projet MED-ECOSURE a été approuvé pour un financement du programme ENPI CBC-Med | 01-02-2019

MEDREC Team has developed and submitted, as applicant, the project “MED-ECOSURE” (Mediterranean University as Catalyst for EcoSustainable Renovation) to the first call for proposals of the Multi-lateral cooperation programme ENPI CBC Med 2014-2020. MED-ECOSURE was elaborated under the Thematic Objective B.4 “Environmental protection, climate change adaptation and mitigation (Address common challenges in environment)” and the priority B.4.3 “Support cost-effective and innovative energy rehabilitations relevant to building types and climatic zones, with a focus on public buildings”.

The project is rooted in the key role that Mediterranean universities have to play in contributing to environmental development and combating climate change. It brings together researchers and stakeholders to build a common understanding of the eco-sustainable building renovation issues and aims to empower regional knowledge-to-action process. MEDECOSURE will be setting up a collaborative learning scheme to value innovative energy renovation solutions starting by the university’s immediate neighborhood; the university building. This Living Lab will propose energy renovation solutions to buildings’ managers taking into consideration the social, economic and environmental factors.
