PROSOL Industrial: Solar Water Heating for Industrial Processes | 28-11-2014
The National Agency for Energy Conservation (ANME), in collaboration with the Italian Ministry for the Environment Land and Sea (IMELS), the Mediterranean Renewable Energy Centre (MEDREC), and the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) launched the project PROSOL Industrial in order to promote the development of solar thermal systems in the industrial sector.


2nd Joint Task Force | 29-11-2013
MEDREC has organized a Joint Task Force (JTF) meeting on November 29th, 2013 following the articles of the technical agreement signed in the 28th of February 2012 between the Tunisian Ministry of the Industry and Technology and the Italian Ministry of the Environment, Land and Sea.

Participation to the Mid Year Working Group Meeting | 15-04-2013
MEDREC has participated to the GNESD Mid-year Working Group Meeting organised by UNEP/DTIE in Paris in presence of all the Centres of Excellence. The main purpose of the meeting is to update all members with the working progress of the network, as well as strategize on future research contributions on promoting energy access to achieve Sustainable Energy for All By 2030.

Participation to the Conference at SOLAREXPO 2013: Delivering Renewable solutions within the Mediterranean electricity market | 09-05-2013
MEDREC has participated to the Conference at SOLAREXPO 2013 organised by RES4MED in the context of the contribution to the strategies of ongoing initiatives in the Mediterranean and the Balkans, the acceleration of the development of multiple renewable energy solutions, and the relevant electrical infrastructure, in order to gather with key stakeholders the assessment of comprehensive national RE plans, and institutional and industrial Initiatives being engaged in deploying green electricity within an integrated energy market.
